ways to support and connect

  • ONE-TIME VOLUNTEERING…

    Volunteering at EWG is a great way to connect with some peace and nature, learn new skills, and bring your love to a special place.

    One-TIme Volunteer Benefits Include:

    • Healing the world a little bit. Making birds very happy.

    • 10% off all Purchases from Good Host Native Plant Nursery and at the annual EGW plant sale.

    • 10% off garden and ecology book purchases from Head & Hand Bookstore (2230 Frankford Ave Phila PA)

    • Free instruction in native plant gardening, and restoring/creating pollinator habitat

  • REPEAT VOLUNTEERING (Garden Tender-Members)

    Regular volunteering allows you to build knowledge about the plants and creating habitat. It’s great for the garden when people deepen their interest and commitment: it helps us take the beauty and the habitat function up to a higher level each year.

    Volunteering can be in the form of helping to organize an event, class or program. Feel free to propose something for the calendar that you’d like to help lead.

  • DONATING…

    EWG is inspired by people like you who care about the web of connections between plants, birds, bees, butterflies and all life on Earth.

    We’re steadily restoring a habitat here in Kensington - a place for reflection, solace and learning (for the humans) - and a place where birds and insects can shelter, eat, sing, feed their young and play their part in the real world-wide web.

    All support helps add more beauty and programming to the garden.

    A contribution to the garden of $50 or more in a year entitles you to all the Tender-Member Benefits.

    To donate, click the button below or contact us at emeraldwildflowergarden@gmail.com if you’d like to discuss giving in relation to yourself, your family, or your company.

    ~~~THANK YOU~~~
NOTE: If you or someone you know is interested in any of the benefits listed above, but isn’t able to physically volunteer and isn’t able financially to donate: we are flexible. We’ll do our best to share resources and inspiration with as many people as possible, even when there are challenges. If you have hardship, let us know here.
